The Foucan Freerunning Academy

Learn Freerunning… direct from the founder, Sebastien Foucan. After twenty years of developing Freerunning, Sebastien Foucan has finally come forward to teach his art in the way he intended.

Sebastien will demonstrate his personal routines and techniques to you, in detailed but easy to follow training sessions.

Your experience level does not matter – you can start your Freerunning journey from the beginning, or build on your existing skills.

We spoke to Sébastien Foucan about the very early days of parcours, Parkour and Freerunning.  This is the first part of a long interview and we’ll be releasing other parts in the coming months.

For a while now we’re been providing high quality films for fans of Parkour and Freerunning. And we intend to carry on doing just that. What different is that the site is no longer a subscription site but free for everyone to view. Woohoo!

All our films are free to watch on YouTube

Why change?

Honestly, we never liked charging our viewers in the first place but we felt we had no choice. We didn’t think we could produce enough content of a high enough quality without having money coming in from our viewers. Now that we’ve been doing it for a while we’ve realised that if we strip back our costs we can just about make it free. So we did.

Are you still going to be making new films?

You bet! And we have some great ones coming up soon. We’ve interviews with Kerbie, Ez, Daniel Ilabaca and the man himself, David Belle. We’ve also got films following Sébastien Foucan’s recent trip to Iceland, reports from movie sets, films about martial arts, more tutorials and your questions answered.
